There has been a lot of activity behind the scenes, trying to get PSCC back into a site where we ran for ten years and that was also the host of Jennifer and my wedding. We have tentatively scheduled Solo events on 9/23 and 10/14, but are still waiting on one last piece of paperwork to be signed before we can publicize the event publicly.

Long story short, we are tentatively opening online registration for a Solo Test & Tune this coming Sunday, 9/23. Details and the location are available if you sign into the PSCC's MotorsportReg site, http://pscc.motorsportreg.com/ . There is the potential for a lot of seat time at a relaxed event if anyone wants to run, but there is still a possibility that we may have to cancel due to the reason spelled out on MSR. We will know more by Friday afternoon, but in the mean time feel free to register if you would like to possibly run this coming Sunday.

Due to the the touchiness of the situation with the final signoff, I am intentionally not typing the site name in this post to keep it out of Google until the last of the paperwork is signed and we have a contract in place. You can log into MSR at the above link for location details and a map.....

We received the final approvals yesterday, and are planning for an awesome first event back at the airport. Jon Cohen has designed a course that should be just as fun as the ones he has done all season at the Coliseum. Online registration will be open until late Saturday evening, so feel free to sign up at the last minute and come out to help us kick off PSCC's return to the Solo event hosting world.....

Paddock entry/exit will be extremely limited at this first event. We can't even walk from the paddock to the restaurant, and per contract have to put up almost 1/4 mile of snow fence for crowd control. If you want to bring a friend for the day and are driving in the event, that's not a problem. Getting anywhere near the event area after registration closes may be a problem, though.....

"An M4-class Rallycross car, when exposed to an asphalt autocross surface, will seek to return to its native habitat as quickly as possible." -Ancient Cone Philosopher Jim Khana :-)

Kudos to Jon Cohen for designing an awesome course that had a few people reaching for third gear. Thanks to the PSCC core workers and Rallycross folks for their efforts all day, including erecting almost a quarter mile of snow fence in under an hour. Apologies for the late start and some disorganization at times while the club shook off some "seat rust" from not having hosted a Solo event in a few years. It was great to see some familiar faces and old friends back out at the airport again.

Jennifer spent the evening going through the timing/scoring computer, and we should have results posted on the PSCC web site real soon.

We will hopefully be opening online registration for the 10/14 event in a week or so. I do not know if it will be run as another test & tune or if it will be a points event, but I'm giving everyone a heads-up to mark your calendar since PSCC's Solo events are still not listed on autox4u.com.....

Looking forward to the Oct 14th event.
Anyone captured video/photos from the Sept 23rd event?
Would love to see this site with an autocross course laid out.

Excited to have an event so close to home... :)
