Is anyone going to this weekend's event in Ft. Wayne? How does the site compare to the Coliseum?

I'll hopefully be there. and it will probably be my last event of the season. Unless someone knows an event reasonably close.
I've never been there, so I don't know how it would compare to the coliseum. but I'm guessing it's a bit smaller.

It looks like they're having prizes for best dressed person, car, and team.
If I can find some washable paint, I kind of want to paint my car up like the mach 5, and try to dress like speed racer.

I wasn't planning on dressing up. I'll just go as an old fart. Do you think they'd believe my RX7 was dressed up as a Cayman... or vise versa?

I just want to have a little fun, I doubt there will be more than a hand full of people in costume.

Well done Sir! I hope you claimed at least an Honorable Mention.

How many Stigs made an appearance?

Yeah, I guess you could say I got an honorable mention.
believe it or not, there was only one red stig. but there were more people in costume than I thought there would be. The winner was a guy in a Captain America costume.

There were some good cars too.
There was a subaru that looked like an ecto wagon from ghost busters that the loud speakers would play the ghost busters theme song when it went on course. A subaru with a "cars" face. a corvette "supervette" with the superman logo and cape. a blue subaru driven by Captain America with red and white stripes and a star on the hood. and a few more.
But the one that won was a Chevelle that had a hurse cover on the back, and painted wide white walls that was just awesome to see going sideways in a cloud of smoke around the track. there were a few more, but that's just what I remember off the top of my head.

Sadly I didn't take any pictures of the people and cars, but I still have my videos as always which I'll post when they're up.

Overall I still had a GREAT time as I always do with the Fort Wayne region!

Believe it or not, but I think the mach 5 setup made my car faster, since I actually managed my first fastest raw time by 1.2 seconds!

So I may just have to set up my car like that for future events! :-P

Here's Steve Mieritz's (dressed as a priest) quickest run.

    And my quickest run.
