If I could use the Tesla supercharge stations, heading down to the SD tour in the Volt would be a hoot!

Send em south we need more STF competitors for the Tour and Pro!

I will TOTALLY try! I have to decide which one I am coming to. Currently I was planning to head to the Tour at the end of Mar... I doubt I can afford both weekends though : /

Tyler,

I would definitely do the El Toro Pro instead of SD. The surface at El Toro is amazing. You get more runs and is less of a drive.

Hmm... The SD tour lines up better with my GF's spring break though... Haha sounds like I'll have her help me make the call. Leaning towards El Toro at this point though....

Texas tour is coming very soon and STF has virtually no entries...time to get registered :)

Also, don't forget the Texas Pro Solo and last year's big fun event...the Blytheville double header weekend :)

I would like to but I can't. I am the Match Tour Operations Manager for all Match Tours along with the one driving the rig to all the events. Those three pros and the Lincoln Champ Tour are the only National events I can bring the Corolla to.

New to message board, so I thought I would post to see if my account works.

2003 Mini Cooper:  Sport Suspension+ and floormats (only options)

Suspension:  SS+ front bar, 19mm rear bar, Koni Yellows w/ coilovers (from Outmotoring/Truechoice), camber plates, adjustable rear links, Yokahama ADVAN AD08 205/50/15.  To do list:  solid bushings, corner weight and align.

Power:  Custom CAI, full exhaust, ECU reflash.  To do list:  Performance coil?

Weight Reduction:  Racing seat (driver only).  To do list:  Passenger seat and light battery (this may get me to sub 2350 range with low fuel, no spare, and tool kit)

Alrighty, the SeX has suspension coming. They're special order K-sports for the Veloster, courced through Pierce Motorsports. 10kfrt, 12k rr springs, and double adjustable strut/shock. Wheels are already here, as soon as I wear down the old RE11's on them, new 225/45/17 Rival's are going on. Leaving intake/exhaust alone and focusing all efforts on the suspension this year.

Getting excited!

Put the Corolla back on the dyno to see what the new exhaust setup (burns stainless muffler dumping before the axle). Gain of 9 hp and 6 ft/lbs torque. Car is at 2300lbs even. My math gives me power to weight of 16.6:1

Pushed the Fit across the scales at SD... and at 2422 pounds with my most recent dyno showing a peak of 98 hp... My math puts me at 24.7:1 .....

so with the ebay intake and the muffler delete we're at about 127 crank (107 whp) and 2380lbs. 22.25lbs/hp for me. HOWEVER...being a new mini I can't rev past 4000rpm when launching unless I can get a ecu reflash...when it's available. Which is great when it's raining or 40 degrees...but horrible at the pro.

I couldn't break 2.6 60ft times even with sub 600 lights
