Trying to finish a project - would like to find a "one-stop" shop that can mount race tires, corner weight, and do some light fab, R&R, and prep.

Yes, Laivins would be the place -- he worked on my car last year, and did a very good job at a very fair price - but for some reason I can't get ahold of him.

Noribilt (SA) doesn't do chassis work, and the place they suggested in Austin is a run-of-the-mill R&R shop that doesn't know race cars or mount tires.

Coming with up with blanks otherwise.

EDIT - found Chris Taylor in S.E. Austin. Will be working with him.

If anybody has other advice or positive experience with the above shops, let me know.

Chris Taylor is a great shop. I run a Spec Rx7 that he built, maintains and transports. His shop is directly across the street from the main entrance to Circuit of the Americas. He rents Spec Rx7 and spec racer fords and is very reasonable in price. His cell number is
512-497-3181. I have been more than pleased with his work and have him building another rx7 for my son that is moving up out of Karts. Call him and tell him David from Corpus Christ sent you.
