Thinking about doing a front splitter on our BSP S2000.  However i am a little uncertain as to the interpretation of the rules.  The rules according to the current rule book state cannot protrude beyond the bumper, however most of the sp cars that i saw at the nj pro seemed to have a lot more splitter than that implies.  I also recall something about 6 inches and even someone getting protested because they were abouty 1/4" too much.  Any clarification would be appreciated

Because of update/backdate, some cars, like later S197 Mustangs, can run the Boss 302 Laguna Seca splitter which sticks out quite a bit.
Otherwise, they can't stick out past the perimeter of the car as seen from above.
