What tire pressure should I run in my STR Miata.  15x7 RFP1 wheels, 700# front and 450# rear springs, Fat Cat non adjustable shocks.  Stock weight and ride height with lots of negative camber.

    Thanks in advance!

    Tried 32 all around, 30 / 28 and I don't think I am there yet.

Do these tires need a lot of runs before they come into their own? I guess I am too used to A6s.

Tried up to 35 / 33 and didn't feel a huge difference. Settled in on 30 / 28 with good use of the entire tread width.

I'd suspect mid to low 30s on a miata would work. Mine were quick from the start but got fasta t about 10-15 runs in. your results may vary

Just get a probe type pyrometer and gather data, they cost a fifth as much as a set of tires and it sure beats guessing.

Why the 7" wheels? Using 205 width? The hot ticket is the 225 on 9" where 27-29psi should be sufficient. If you are stuck with the thinner tires, I would suspect 32-34psi is going to be the sweet spot unless it doesn't fit your driving style. More importantly, remember that Rivals want to be audible when driven to get the most out of them. Make sure they howl nearly everywhere.
