How long was the course 35-40 seconds? Looks fun for the limited amount of concrete!

The FSAE car got into the 32s. The Haydu/Janusz SMF Civic may have broken into the 33s. definitely in the 34s. Santi finished the day w/ a dirty run into the 34s. I was in the 38s all day on the XSs. Except when Joe was in the car. On my 2nd run I was kicking myself for not swapping the Rivals Saturday evening. So much for a low key day.

Mid-day tarmac temp: 120*F. front tire temps were 110-122 outside to inside; the rears, a few degrees lower. The ground in the shade was 95*.

Those who other plans or skipped out missed a good day none the less.

Everytime I went into the slalom I was kicking my self for not swapping out my OEM suspension. It was fun course. My fastest run was a 36.9 but I coned/possibly went off course...

Janusz was into the mid 34's, the highlight of my day was a run with Box as a co pilot where we were both laughing like fools all the way around the course.

This event surpassed all my expectations, sorry for those that missed it.

At the August club meeting, PSCC decided to cancel the 9/22 airport event. The site/access restrictions and number of additional volunteer workers necessary to meet them were determined to be beyond what the club could muster from its current core membership. We might return to the airport at some point in the future, should the available volunteer core membership increase.....
