Will the new street class designations add ST after the class letter? I figure since they have the STxx classes the new stock to street classes will need to be something like AST, BST, etc. Since the first year they are keeping stock and street classes.

    No, AS = A-Street while ASR = A-Street R (the old A-Stock).

Ahh so all the people wanting to stay in stock this year have to buy new class letters or move to street and buy different tire/wheel combos.

There should be plenty of used "R"s available from all the street tire drivers that had to buy RTA RTR and RTF for one year

Most R-comp stock drivers don't bat an eye at $10-$20 per run in tire costs but $5.50 for a pair of letters which will last all season is bitch-worthy?    Cry me a river.

It's not gonna bother me one way or the other. Just seems like it would make more sense to add a T to the end of the new street class than rename the old stock class XSR. Just like they began the other recent street tire class additions with ST.
