Customer Service Oriented Team Member Needed for Racing Parts Company (Downtown Indianapolis)
Racer Parts Wholesale (www.racerpartswholesale.com) is looking for a full-time customer service oriented team member to join our Indianapolis location. You will primarily be responsible for taking phone orders, processing internet orders, taking care of walk-in customers and communicating with customers via phone and e-mail. We are a family-owned business where everyone pitches in, so you will also be asked to assist with projects for our website, as well as shipping and receiving.
Answer Incoming Phone Calls to take phone orders, answer questions on current orders and answer technical questions
Place Outgoing Phone Calls to customers to resolve order issues
Reply to customer e-mail inquiries regarding quotes, orders and technical questions
Work with customers in our showroom to assist in product selection and checkout
Enter phone orders, as well as download and review internet orders
Additional Tasks as Required:
Assist in both shipping and receiving in warehouse
Assist with projects, such as updating website information, prepare for events that RPW staff is attending, comparison price shop to help us remain competitive etc.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Proficient
Intermediate Computer Skills
Excellent Oral and Written Communication
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs to shoulder height, as well as walk the warehouse to pull product
Technical Knowledge of racecars and motorcycles a plus, but not necessary
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with a one hour unpaid lunch
