The last Heat on Sunday was called because of bad weather.  As usual, the "Class Pos." column indicates "Final" class position.

Sorry, there must have been another "upgrade" to this site.  I can't post attachments.  I'll see if Chris can help.

    Or your comcast site

The "Final" Index results PDF should be posted to the PAX/RTP website soon.  http://home.comcast.net/~paxrtp/rtp2014.html

It's unfortunate that we only post the "final" there.  With so many Sunday runs being scrapped, the finals don't reflect some great drives from some of the fifth heat competitors.  I hope I can get this attachment thing worked out on this site.  It's always been a great medium for these.

Thanks, Mike.  I'm not sure if there is something I'm doing wrong (apparently), or there's something about my browers (home & work) that prevents me from doing attachments.  I never used to have any problems, but I've certainly have had problems recently.

When viewing these results, keep in mind that all times were entered manually.  It is certainly possible that there may be typos or other missing folks.

    Sorry about that.

Pardon my questioning this if I'm incorrect but isn't it VERY rare to not have a "stock" class vehicle (now street) in the top 15 in pax seeing as those are in theory the easiest to max out for the class and therefore be atop the index? Is the fact that the highest "street" class vehicle sat in 16th a sign that maybe an adjustment is due for the street tire index modifier.

It's the first National event of the year.  :-)   Lots of things need to develop.

Not that it makes a big difference, but the 42.4 in the ESP car on Saturday didn't happen.  Yes it stood, yada yada, but it was definitely a timing error.  So Feinberg was 15 in DS on Saturday.

That's a higher finish than Heitkotter, so...

Feinberg was in the awd tt, so the index will may be adjusted for awd next year. The multiplier increased by 16 thousandths, which is kind of surprising, considering the tires have not changed from the RT classes last year. I can't imagine the street tires having 99.1 percent of the grip r-comps have. And not to take anything away from Luster or my buddy Jason Ruggles, but Heitkotter did fly in around 2am Saturday morning from a long day at Sebring and was not as far ahead in his own class on day one as expected.
