I need some input from any of you street prepared guys on the update/backdate rules in Street Prepared.  I have an 05 S197, and typically rear seat deletes/removal are not allowed per the street prepared rules. However, the Boss 302 Laguna Seca (which is on the same line of S197 chassis cars) has an OEM rear seat delete and cross brace. So my question is does the rear seat delete and cross-brace combo that I put in my 05 have to be the OEM Laguna Seca parts or will any similar rear seat delete & cross-brace combo be acceptable?  I ask because the price difference for the OEM Laguna Seca kit is substantially more expensive (about 3 times more) than piecing together a generic rear seat delete and peformance cross-brace.

    Thanks for the help.
