My reading of the 2014 rules indicates that Hoosier A6's are currently allowed in Street Prepared.

    Rule (15.3) states:

"Tires must meet the eligibility requirements for Street Category with the exception of Sections 13.3.A.1, 13.3.A.2, and 13.3.A.3." The excluded sections are the specifications in Street that say that Minimum UTQG Treadware Grade of 140 (going to 200 in 2015) must be used. Am I reading this right?

Is this going to change in 2015? I want to make sure Hoosiers are allowed before I buy my next set!

I would think all R compound tires would remain legal in 2015 for street prepared. The Street R class is mostly going away.Maybe you could e-mail the solo department at SCCA your question.
