I know that 2008-2014 WRX's are officially in STU... which puts them at a disadvantage obviously... I am wondering if the 2015 may be able to squeak in as an STX? The STX class does have a 2.0L engine max rule that I think may allow the 2015 WRX sneak back into? Although I have no slue what I am talking about lol. Could we get some official rulings here??? Or at least as many people's opinions as possible or back-up for said opinions? Thanks!

The 2015 WRX has not been officially classed in street touring yet.

I remember hearing that the 2015 was significantly faster than the 2014 so I would think that it would be extremely unlikely that it would get moved down to a slower class.

It's official, due to the "now lower" 2.0L displacement in the 2015 WRX as of the 2015 SCCA Season the 2015 WRX is officially in STX NOT STU! :)

Huh? The 2015 WRX was formally classed in STU in the 2015 rulebook. All STI and 2009-15 WRX are in STU.

Rule book says STX when I download it. I believe this was mentioned in November of last year in Fastrack or some other source around that time.

Damn, you're right, they changed it between the draft and the final!
