    As per latest Fastrack...

    "Street Prepared

    #12572 E9X M3 move to BSP

Remove the following listing from ASP and add to ESP:
    BMW
       M3 (2007-13)

Note: The proposal to move these cars to BSP was met with little response, and what we received was negative. The SPAC would like to hear from membership how they feel about ESP. The SPAC feels that this car would not be an overdog in ESP."

    Thoughts?

This makes sense to me. In fact it makes more sense in light of the fact that the car has already been moved to FS where suspensions can't be updated or backdated.

Pony cars vs krautwagons; didn't we fight a war over this? Add the rally cars back in and have a true allies vs the axis powers again.

Why would you move the M3 and leave the poor 135 in ASP to rot. shame.

Probably because the 135 has a Turbo engine that the boost can be raised on in SP and that the SEB/SPAC has decided that all AWD and RWD turbo cars belong in ASP (thus why they're trying to move the WRX and DSM's there)

I support the move entirely. The M3 is matched as well with ESP and it is with FS.

I think the M3 is matched better with the Mustang in FS than it is in ESP, mainly due to the lack of camber adjustment in BMWs and how dependent they are on that with the narrower front wheel sizes. I don't have an E92, but I do have an E46 and I do race an ESP Mustang, Apples to Apples I don't see why the BMW wouldn't beat it soundly. It opens another can of worms too, not sure how you can justify an E92 in ESP and an E46 in STU when the index factors are so close. When did BMW's $70,000 performance icon become such an underdog I guess is my question?
