I am looking for some advice on an STU build. I understand that for a RWD car, 285 tires are the maximum width allowed. I am looking for some advice on whether I should try and go with a square 285 set up, or do a staggered set up with a smaller width up front. Clearance is not an issue so is there any reason why I shouldn't go with the widest tire available? Thanks in advance!

Yes, if you can go square while maintaining good width out back, go square.
