OK pot stirrer! That's the sound of the excuse machine being fired up. [:D]

I'll be the first to admit my driving in the Z, other than my 1st run, was pretty craptastic. For cryin' out loud, I got beat by Tucker! Slater on the other had, drove superbly; maybe even his best ever, as shown by his smoking of the rest of you street tire guys. [;)]

I felt mildly redeemed by my performance in the Miatski in the afternoon.

So what's the over/under on Slater vs. Windscreen this Sunday?

He definitely had a lot of things going for him. I'm assuming that since the course was only in the 30 second range your tires never even came close to getting warm.

My personal excuse for losing to Slater was that I was in a different car. Plus, with the cheater gearing on the Z you guys were able to keep it in first gear for the entire course. Now, Bart and Lance? They have no excuses at all. Especially Bart. (not to give him a hard time or anything)

Nope, my issue was 90% driving like crap, and 10% listening to Phlamm on shift point advice. WTF was I thinking?! [:D] On my 3rd AM run I was on the rev limiter before I even made it back through the crossover. I lost a lot of time by being at terminal velocity, and not accelerating.

All things I should know better than to let happen. Mental errors that need to not happen from now through at least Sept 10th.
