Two F-bods here! I love to say "No, they are NOT his cars!" Hi to fellow woman racer Karen Kraus! Any advice for the newbie? I started racing with NASA late this year.

Raises hand, daily driver/beater/grocery getter 1994 6speed Z28 with 35,XXX miles. The only mods are a strut tower brace and Moroso CAI (went from 255 RWHP and 300 RWTQ stock to 269 RWHP and 312 RWTQ with this mod).

On the weekends and nice days I drive my "toy", a 1994 Supra TT 6speed which is pretty heavily modified (572 RWHP and 534 RWTQ at 22PSI no NOS) I expect 670+ RWHP and 600+ RWTQ when I crank the boost to ~27 PSI.

You know. . . one needs to be very careful when telling people within the gene pool of the general public that one owns an "F-body."
One needs to be ready with an explanation, or one might get their face slapped. Furthermore, there are all of those draconian sexual harrassment laws floating around these days. SCCAForums Image

To tell the truth. . . I want a Y-body myself. I'm not saying I have enough F-bodies, but a nice Y-body with personalized plates that read "RPO Z06" would be real nice. SCCAForums Image SCCAForums Image

I have one of dem Camaro's! An I don't even live in a trailer!

Seriously, I'm just getting into Solo2. Rules sometimes seem bizarre. I didn't realize I could run in ESP class so I ran in SS class. Funny how a SS Camaro without mods, has a PAX of .830 but if you modify it, it has a .822. I figure if I put on a carbon fiber shell, 422ci blown motor, etc, I could get my PAX down to .5 or so SCCAForums Image (kidding of course)

Hey. . . those rules are there for a very good reason. If they can encourage enough F-bodies to move from SS to ESP, their Corvette big brothers won't be embarrassed as often. Obviously, there are a lot of Y-body owners on the national SEB. SCCAForums Image

Hmmm. . . now that the rumors are all the more rampant that GM plans to kill the F-body, do you suppose it will get some respect in its extinct form? SCCAForums Image

I "like" (don't enjoy) the caption on the cover of the latest GMHTP Magazine in describing the apparent end of the era, to wit, "Game Over." SCCAForums Image

Of course, those rumors have been running rampant for three years or more.
