It's that time of year again (and also time to show the road racers who's better at this [:O]), so here are the details:

    Sunday Nov 14th - 10AM

    Buffalo Grove - Track 1

Three (3) 20-lap qualifiers plus 30-lap championship race for top-12 qualifiers

    $65/person

Let me know if you're interested - thanks!

Excellent - thanks for the responses guys [Y] As we get closer to "game day" we should coordinate a carpool from Milw. If you know of anyone else interested, please let 'em know - thanks!

As long as I don't procrastinate too much on building my deck I should be in. Lance also said that he'll probably be able to make it.

Talked to John Ma, and it sounds like he's in for the time being as well.

How about we stop at Joe's Crab Shack on the way down and you have to eat the difference between your weight and 200 lbs. in seafood? That'll show 'em. :P

I'm good with that... they'd be so full they wouldn't be able to bend to get into the kart, or they might yack in their helmet...

I'm thinking more like 225[:P]...and along those lines, will someone who is 5'18" fit in one of these things?[*-)]

I think 200 is enough to at least level it out...

I'm 6'-2" and I've never even though that the karts were too small at CIR. I've been in other karts that I've felt cramped, but it has never even crossed my mind... that the for what it's worth.

I would agree on adding weight to the karts of the smaller/lighter drivers... Power-to-weight is a big deal on a kart.

I can't remember the last time that I was in a kart that I did not feel cramped on...or worse, could not even fit on/in. 36" inseem...lots of legs to try and 'fold up'.

Good to see all of the affirmative responses - this promises to be yet another fine "shootout" [H][Y] I have one update regarding the start time:

I believe I had originally indicated a start time of 10AM - that is incorrect.

The correct start time is 1230PM - that's when we have to be ready for the driver's meeting / suiting up. I would recommend being there around high noon. Hopefully this change in start time won't "disenfranchise" any prospective participants... [*-)]

As for Milwaukee folks travelling down there, I can take my Suburban, so I can accommodate another six or seven people. Let me know if you're interested. Also, it seems the majority of Milwaukee folks are from the western side of town; does it make sense to meet at the Watertown Plank Park & Ride or another P&R more centrally located? Otherwise, we can surely meet again at the College Ave. Park & Ride as per previous events. Please post your thoughts. Thanks!
