Help - We are looking for ideas for locl events. We would like something for cheap for about $3.00 to $4.00 for out St. Louis local events, then we are hoping to give out neater year end (I am voting for 1st place jackets)

We have given glasses (had some say 1st and the rest say nothing (and used for 2nd 3rd etc.) We gave little orange pylons last year.

This is a pain to find something neat, and not have cases left over at end of year.

Anyone have any connections or good trophy places on the web they can share with us.

Maybe there is a regions or Solo person in the trophy business. Tell me Tell me!

    Jan,

Several years ago Mid-South Region gave out ceramic beer steins with the SCCA logo, region logo, and finish position decals fired underglaze. They were fairly expensive (about $5 20 years ago) but everyone remembered them.

wht not do some gag gift type stuff? furry dice, curb feelers, pissing calvin stickers, dogs with bobbing heads, etc. It would add a bit of fun to the trophy presentation and you might even get a few people to stick around just to see what the gag trophies are.

Rich, good call. I like that idea. You could give chevy stickers to import drivers and and honda stickers to domestic drivers....

I completely forgot about this one...

The club in Peterborough, Ontario has a club member take high quality photos of all the cars running in during the first 2 runs. He then runs off to the 1 hour photo. When you pull in after your 5th run you get two glossys of your self driving. I always look forward to that one.

They only do this for their regional event, of course.
