I've always wanted to try rallying, but for some reason, I don't think my 1200#, 0" travel springs would work very well. SCCAForums Image

    Looks like fun though!

By the way, I took a look at your webpage and I remember that article. Any chance Emily is looking for an attractive 20 year old guy who loves racing? SCCAForums Image

Wait, don't tell me. It's a pic of I-244 in downtown Tulsa back around Christmas?

    Mike,
Been there, done that. 100 Acre Wood - 1977. 14 inches of fresh snow and -10 C. air temps!

    NORM!!
Long time no talk-to! But you're off a little on the year of that rally ... I ran the '78 100 Acre Wood Freeze-Fest without a heater in what has to be one of the world's worst rally cars (but thanks to Martin Holmes it was different enough that he published a pic of it in RallyNytt - a Swedish rallye maganzine):

    - "Tigger takes a snowy ride"

By the way, '77 was the year Danny Goodwin parked that 13B rotary powered Mazda pickup truck 30 feet up a tree!

But speaking of Vegas <<>>, here's the best picture ever captured of that car:

Amazing what a brake malfunction will do for your stage times!!

So, Norm. Scuttlebutt has it you're considering a return to stage rallying. Any truth to that one? Rallycrosses are popping up all over, the 100 Acre Wood (with Kim DeMotte's help) may return in 2002 and a Fayettville-ian named Michael Brown (who cordrove for me at the March, 1999 Paris CluRallys) should be contacting you soon about bringing performance rally back to Arkansas. He needs advice.

    Later!!

    MM ...
