The car handles like its on ice in the parking lot races. If Im racing in E-Modified, what is the biggest most sticky tire I am allowed to run?

Thanks for your help in advance.

size and compound is free, run the stickiest tire that gets hot the quickest. There are only two rules for EM: 1500lb min, and no mods to the frame/ floor except for whats required to shoehorn the engine/trans into the bay.

    Alan,
Thanks for the reply. Do you know where the best place to buy race tires would be?

Are there any inside things I should know, like can you buy them used from factory guys or anything like that?

You don't want to buy used racing slicks. They are fastest when they are new. After about 40 runs, there will be a measurable difference (as in slower lap time). The best person to talk to and buy your autox slicks from is Tom Reichel at Mid-Atlantic Motorsport, 219-243-5553.
