2 Replies and 208 Views MAF conversion  208  2 Started by  Chris I think I already know what the answer will be, but is it legal to upgrade from a speed density system to mass air in ST I don't think the application matters, but for arguments sake, I'm looking at taking an 88 mustang in STP to local events, but it would be nice to upgrade to Mass Air like the later Fox body models to be able to better take advantage of the tuning that is allowed in ST.

2 Replies and 823 Views Honda insight SMF clarification  823  2 Started by  Paul Hello all, Couple of us at the local club where wondering if swapping the drivetrain on a early G1 insight, leaving the interior but removing the batteries would keep the insight in SMF The removal of the hybrid system was what was in really in contention. Car would still weigh roughly the same with more foward bias. Anyone have any thoughts on this. Im tempted to build a g1 for smf to compete locally. Thanks Paul

I want to install a lower, and lighter driver's seat that is also compatible with the OEM seat belts, as well as retaining use of the middle glove box. I would like to be able to mount the seat on a slider, too.... What do you all suggest Thanks!

2 Replies and 1947 Views '02 Impreza in STS?  1947  2 Started by  RedGT Is there a history to why the '02-'04 Impreza 2.5 (nonturbo) is not classed in ST* I would have thought it to be marginally (or maybe a lot) slower than the '98-'01 generation 2.5RS, which is classed in STC, now STS, and therefore no harm in throwing it in there. Am I overlooking some reason the '02 was expected to be too fast for the same class, or was it just overshadowed by the WRX from that generation on and no one ever asked for an ST classing

There are some strut bars available for the Golf V, which would need a minor cut out on the upper firewall to be properly mounted.
