Judging by the requests recieved by the adhoc commitee there is going to be plenty of cars in the class, although knowing which divisions they will show up in is dificult to predict.

The Runoffs should have an STO race that names a Nat Champ again this year.

I purchased a 2002 corvette to run STO this season. Plan on running national at blackhawk, double national at mid-ohio, double national at gingerman, and the july road america national race.

the crb has rejected my request for AS with my FR500C. they have invited me to get my ass kicked in sto to prove the car isnt competitive in that class. why do they do that? who wants to pay $700 in entry fees plus brakes and tires and travel to get your doors blown off in order to prove a point?

if i really wanted to race in STO i'd put long tubes on the car and a intake at roush yates plus a good wing and splitter none of which would be applicable for the other class.

so...i may run one national race this year to say that i did it.

What region will you be running in?

I run in the NE but Ill get 4 races in where I can get them. Last year was an experiment with STO and a nice way to get more seat time. This year I plan on having a proper STO car, just not sure when it will be ready so I may have to start out running STO in my T2 car to get my races in. I asked the crb to give the Evo a turbo upgrade and to class the Evo in T1 as well as T2 (like the Mustang) but they said no, so STO it is. Just hope we have the minimum amount of entrees at the ROs-CJ will not be running STO this year. Dave, Me wanting rain? nah ;)
