Team Pan Am Club Racers will make thier way to race at Sandia Motorplex on June 7th & 8th in the Western Sprints Regional race. As of this date 3 Pan Am racers have registered, all in the Spec Miata class. Tim Schoeppner, Mark Kowalski, and Jeff Kelly (club racing event chairman) will battle it out in this very popular race class. The event will be 2 days, Saturday and Sunday. There will also be a PDX group for street cars and a vintage racing group. As of this date Richard Dziak in his Formula F1000 is subject due to medical problems but hopes to enter the event. Over the past weekend Team Pan Am racers, John Basler, Karl Busch, Jose Gerardo, Arie Mirles, T.J. Schoepner and Richard Dziak attended the open track day at Arroyo Seco Raceway. It was a great day and for just $50.00 each driver had a full day of track time on a real 1.6 mile paved road racing circuit. We thank Roger the track owner for a fun time.
