Hot off the press - there is finally an excellent, up to date book out on racecar data analysis!  Analysis Techniques for Racecar Data Acquisition is the title, author is Jorge Segers.  Published in the US just a few weeks ago.

I've had my copy for a few weeks now.  It really has a ton of information in it.  It's written with the "team race engineer" in mind, but it's not too heavy on the mathematics.  It really breaks it all down to what information you should really be logging and why.  There's a chapter on analyzing the driver, but it's not very heaving on driving theory.

In my opinion, it's money well spent, especially if you're still shopping for a data logging system.

For those who ordered already (thanks!) the books were mailed Priority yesterday and most should arrive tomorrow (Saturday).  You won't be disappointed!

Two more weeks for free shipping.

 This book is selling quite well, we are on our third case of them.  Good feedback so far.

 We don't get a big price break from SAE on this, so we need to discontinue the free shipping, but web or phone orders will be billed an $8 shipping charge for this item.  (Website will still say $15 shipping, but you will only be billed $8)
