Automatic Fire Suspression System for Race Cars...

I am planning on getting a new fire suspression system for my car.

Here is the one I am thinking of getting.

It can be activated manually or automatically when the temperature exceeds 155 degrees.  I figure I will spend a few extra bucks for one that can still activate in case I am unable to do so in the event of a bad accident.

Do any of you have experience with these systems?

Do you have any knowledge or feedback?

    What do you recommend?

    Safest regards,

    Oli

The owner before the last owner of your car put an electrically actuated system in and it blew off accidentally... big mess - it's probably still in some corners of the car. That was an OMP and I've still got the empty bottle if you want to try it again.

i don't have any specific knowledge about this system, however 155 seem too low. we've measured cockpit temperatures in arizona approaching that.

I thought the same thing about 155.  What happens inside the car at Willow Springs International if the sensor is by the roof and it is 116 degrees. It can be that hot there.
