FS: 2005 Lotus Elise (yeah, that one)

This is the car often seen on the Tire Rack literature, with the skull and crossbones on the front bumper. It's the car that Junior Johnson drove to 2nd place at nationals. The car is a 2005, currently with a little over 11,500 miles. The car is in fantastic condition. There are a few rock chips in the starshield in front of the rear wheels and that's about it. The A/C works great, I've never had any problem with it freezing up or any of the usual Lotus complaints. All dealer service/recalls have been done. Overall this is a great example of an Elise with a proven history, you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner, sounder, or better example.

I am interested in selling because I am focusing on road racing, and the Elise doesn't really fit into those plans. The car is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

The only modification is a quicksilver exhaust. It sounds great, like a sportbike when it's on the 2nd cam. The car has a hard top and soft top. It has the sport and touring packs. The car will come with a set of the LSS wheels as well as black team dynamics wheels.

Obviously the car has been autox'd, where it is very competitive. As I said, it came 2nd nationally in SCCA SS and set the SCCA TT track record for a door banger at the Beaverun Wilson circuit. If you aren't an autocrosser, don't let the fact that the car has been autocrossed scare you off; in this case it simply means that the car has been maintained and inspected religiously.

    My asking price is $35,500.
If you have any questions feel free to email me at stratman1532@gmail.com.

    Thanks!

This car belonged to a guy out of Louisville, KY who ordered it new and I can vouch took excellent car of it.  Tape was always used and it was trailered everywhere. It had the factory LSD in it when it placed at Nationals, does it still have it?

This car can do the Kestle run in 11 parsecs.

I have autocrossed this car when George owned it.  I know he took great care of his cars.  I think this car was the twin of mine that came directly to Lotus USA Georgia on the boat.  George got one, and I got the yellow one.

Nope, George took the LSD and TC out of the car before he sold it to me. It has the stock transmission from his yellow Elise, so it's as delivered (never been monkeyed with).

Thanks for the endorsement Randy, how is the Noble doing?
