Anybody know a source for delrin anti-roll bar (swaybar) bushings?

So I was looking at making some delrin bushings, but then it occured to me that there is probably something out there that could be more easily adapted to my application than a raw hunk of plastic.

I need something that is roughly this shape:

I need rather small ones, I can easily bore them out and possibly even shim them in, but I need 1 for 15mm, 1 for 20mm, and 1 for 22m.

    So, what is out there?

energy only does urethane, not delrin....  right?  I couldn't find anything else on their site.

    Why delrin?

Swaybars are open in bushing material so you could use practially anything including metal ball bearings.  I would question how you plan on getting a delrin bushing onto the swaybar...

metal will be loud and/or difficult to get onto an inexpensive bent steel tube style anti-roll bars.  Delrin can be made in two pieces (or cut in half) and installed, exploiting the lip to keep them co-planar.  Compliance:  stock rubber> aftermarket hard urethane> delrin > metal.   I am just looking to take another step down the continuum, to get a closer to straight rate effective bar.....

Re: Anybody know a source for delrin anti-roll bar (swaybar) bushings?

You could probably machine two halves of a bushing out of delrin and get them to stay, but all you need to do to reduce compliance is make the bushing material thinner. Make the bracket small enough and the bushing material could just be grease (a.k.a. sleeve bearing). I was going to try using teflon tape in place of a sway bar bushing but never got around to testing it.

Re: Anybody know a source for delrin anti-roll bar (swaybar) bushings?

there needs to be some support on the body side for the design i have, depicted above.  My thought was the above metal bracket and bushing design is pretty universal, down to slotted holes in the mounting bracket, so all I would need is a 20mm or smaller center hole and a matching metal bracket and I could use a prefabbed part, rather than doing any machine work myself, or sourcing a new smaller bracket.

I suppose you are right.  failing a delrin bushing in a compatible bracket, perhaps I can fine a smaller rubber bracket, and a thinner urethane bushing.  steps in the right direction.

I could also go with a larger urethane bushing in a stock bracket I already have and use a metal spacer to fit the smaller  bar to the bigger (thus thinner) bushing.
