    Re: 1982 Morton Solo Vee

Sorry for the delay in response. I couldn't log in and had to have a computer ner. . . . ahhhh. . .a good friend come over and see what was wrong ;-).

In answer to the questions asked. 6' 2" and 200 lbs is pretty much it. Anything more than that will be above the main-to-front hoop "ruler" check. It's actually quite a bit more than the "normal" formula car.

And already answered, it's in Wichita Ks.

    Dave G:
...Anything more than that will be above the main-to-front hoop "ruler" check.

That's the rule in club racing.  For Solo, the pertinent rule is in Appendix C - SOLO ROLL BAR STANDARDS
    A. BASIC DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
          2. The top of the roll bar shall not be below the top of the
driver’s helmet when the driver is in normal driving position,
and shall not be more than six inches behind the driver. It is
strongly suggested that the roll bar extend at least three
inches above the driver’s helmet. In case of two driver cars,
both drivers must be within the roll bar height requirement,
however only one driver must be within six inches of the roll
bar. In a closed car equipped with a roll bar/cage, it must be
as close as possible to the interior top of the car.

i know it is a long shot, but you wouldn't be interested in a trade for a fourwheeler by chance would you? I have a 2006 yfz 450 i am currently in the process of selling. let me know if it is something you would entertain.
