Hello All....I know it is short notice, but in researching a possible track day in August, I noticed that the event at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway for this weekend (July 26-27)has canceled. I wanted to see if any of you might be interested and could do an event this Saturday, July 26th???

It will be first come first served, so please let me know ASAP. If we get the maximum of 15 to sign up, the cost will be $200 each or maybe a little bit less. I am trying to get them to lower the cost a little since we will be helping them out by filling a vacant weekend.

The format will be Drivers Education/Test and Tune, with no aggressive passing. 3 cars only on the track. We will have 20 minute run groups. It is a very forgiving track for novices. Very wide open!

Man that is a fun track and a good price.  I was just there last month.  I have a wedding to go to otherwise i be all over this.  Anyone looking to getting into road racing here is a good place to start.

Hello all.... the track day for this weekend was a no-go. Not enough time for most people to make a plan. Instead, we have reserved Talladega Gran Prix Raceway (TGPR) for Thursday, August 14th. This should give everyone plenty of time to make plans. The format will be Test and Tune with 3 cars on track and no aggressive passing.

The event is limited to 15 drivers and we already have 6 committed including me. This means that there are 9 spaces left. Registration will be first come, first served so you must act quickly! The cost is $130.00 .

I am requesting that you choose to pay the registration fee through PayPal. This will make it easier for me to keep track of who has and has not paid. Hey Skip!!! Actually, I sold the red car last October and got an 05 Boxster S. I don't beat on it like I did the other one....awww, who am I kidding? I drive it like it's stolen!!!   Here's a pic the last time I was at the track!

 

We still have a couple of slots for our open track day at Little Talladega Aug 14th.
