There are 178 entrants registered for the Pro Finale and as of today, Mike King is the ONLY person registered for STS2.

What gives? Is everyone skeered? Everybody run out of kryptonite or something?

 

I'll be in there co-driving his car when they open up on Monday for one-eventers. While I am used to losing to him, I'd prefer to not be the ONLY loser.. LOL

What happened, you were there and then you weren't?? It's just Mike and me right now...

Does anyone remember all the rules about who is eligable this year? I remember something about the trophy winners from last year being eligable for regular class competition this year. Are the one event entries (who are not eligable for class championship) still going to run in a separate index class? and if so where are they in the entry list?

The finale is going to be interesting now, I've given up on doing well within B1 since the STS2 index sucks so much. Looks like CS and maybe GS will be in B1 as well.

I just got a letter in my email yesterday and it said. 

Single Event Participation: Competitors that have not met the full 2008 ProSolo qualifications for participation but ran one 2008 event may enter the event in the Single Event Index Class beginning on Sept 3^rd up to the number of available entry slots.  Registration will only be available by fax.

They are also going to be required to work the challenge rounds and run first class of the day.

Howard posted on the SCCA forum that they are currently removing and notifying people that did not meet the qualifications to enter before Sept 3rd.

 He also said that ProSolo Champions from 2007 are eliagble to run in a open class.

My records indicate that you have participated in one 2008 ProSolo event.  Therefore, I have moved your entry to the Single Event Index Class.  If my records are incorrect, please let me know ASAP.

 

I'm confused though as I'm not familiar with the Index Class and dont find my name anywhere in the standard entry list. I replied to her asking where this other entry list is viewable.

For the time being, single event will show in AM.  Since the event is technically not open to single event registration, I have moved you and a few others to the wait list.  This way I can sort out who belongs where.  On the 3^rd, I will move you to the AM group with any new registrants, unless you tell me to cancel your entry.

As I see it, all of the one event entrants (several different classes) will be running in one class, the ProSolo index will be applied to your time to determine the winner... it will be like running for PAX in your region.

So you won't be completing against Mike in STS2, only entrants with 2+ events this year or last years champions are allowed into STS2....
