Be careful what you ask for

You should really think about what response you might get before you ask a question.  A discussion started on a different forum about whether it was legal in Stock class to replace the front struts on my Civic Si, as well as a few other cars such as the RSX, because the steering rod attaches directly to the strut itself.  The Solo rulebook is really vague about this issue, so I sent an email to the SCCA Solo Events Board to get clarification.  This was their response:

"Your comments have been logged 08-513 for Strut Clarification and sent to the SEB. They will discuss this topic and once they have made a decision they will post it in a future FasTrack news."

So a decade or so from now when they review it and make a decision, if they decide it's not legal to change the front struts on my car, not only will have my response, but it will be in print for everyone to see.  Woops.
