Re: Pro Finale Live T & S
System down...Never got it working. No cars ran.
Morning runs are cancelled but people are going to be able to run the course for practice if they choose.
At least that is the latest..
When it rains, it pours..

Re: Pro Finale Live T & S
Confirmed. I just finished my practice runs... no points, no time, no score, no impound, just a green flag and a 'fun run'. Fun course even in the wet actually. Hopefully the timing will work for this afternoon, no clear skys insite, so rain practice is usable.

Re: Pro Finale Live T & S
If the rain at HPT is anything like it is in KC there may be times when people could not be able to actually SEE the course. That assumes, naturally, the the cones have not floated away !!!!!!
IT
IS

I just hope that Ike takes the predicted path SOUTH of Topeka/Kansas City and doesn't slip north at all.

Re: Pro Finale Live T & S
Morning issues were caused by the wireless timing system. It was hard-wired, tested during the remaining morning "practice" runs, and then went live for the afternoon.
Still more delays in the afternoon, though, due to various things related to mega-water downpours and also a lightning storm (safety). Rivers running through the course. It has stopped raining for the moment but there is another squall line coming. Sky is getting dark again. Forecast is for more rain all night until about 9 am. We start at 8. --Andy PS: Ian, you'll love this...Thomason is co-driving with Braun in an Elise on Hoosiers. Thomason now leads by 2 tenths but had drier conditions than Matthew

Re: Pro Finale Live T & S
From what I can remember what Karen told me:
AS J. Roberts
BS Carter
DS M.A. Smith over "Colt 40" Fineburg (who's driving Karen's WRX on Hoosier rains) by 7 tenths
FS Burns over Strano by 3 tenths
DSP Schipkov over Shields
FSP L. Mueller over Jinx
SM C. Travis (apparantly, FWD is fast)
L1 Kraus over McClure, but Peterson coned fastest runs
And like Andy said, it's supposed to rain some more tomorrow.

I'm curious about one thing: Who bribed whom at UPS to see that our Hoosier Wet was shipped to Philadelphia instead of Topeka?

Andy.... That's Awesome (and can't be that fare due to a small weight difference)! No GT3 for Gary or did Teddybear finally get his way and get the thing banned?

Did Gary's car break or was it a matter of not having race rains?

He didn't want it banned so he decided not to run it.
Not really.
No rain tires for the car so he jumped into Braun's car and put up a great battle for 1st.

Re: Pro Finale Live T & S
Oh yeah...congrats, Andy for the SC and Honda wins!
I'd congratulate the Ladies' winner, but the darn link doesn't work, so I don't know who that is...

Kudos to Matthew for putting his strongest competitor in the same car and running heads-up. Very classy move and makes the ultimate victory that much sweeter. Gary, for his part, was instantly fast in the new ride. Matthew had to come from behind to win today. --Andy
