Lost to Andy in SuperChallenge MOVE UP

Question do all final round losers at Super Challenges to Hollis become Winners now ?

Because if they do then "Team Itchy Balls" will be calling Hoosier (love those guys in purple !), for the other two tires that Hector would deserve.

    PS---Hollis Shines Again

PSS---and I thought the drive back to Florida would be really boring.  Boy was I wrong.

Thank you for the cool graphic "Serial killer".

Your answer was very informative and helpful, NOT.

PS---the next time you are stuck on the side of the road with a flat, I am not stopping to help like I did last time.

(just remembered I didn't stop last time----but I saw you too late........now if you were laying on the ground in need of help I would certainly stop, I hope you know that.  First I would check your wallet for any cash of course, but I would help after I stole money out of your wallet, because that's what friends do.)

Re: Lost to Andy in SuperChallenge MOVE UP

David, regardless of any past Pro or Tour results, this DQ only applies to the Pro Finale and Solo Championships. Any previous events, it would not affect. I know, because I lost the Honda Street Challenge in DC to Andy...but at that event, his motor was legal and can't be proven otherwise. So, put your Hoosier number away...

Re: Lost to Andy in SuperChallenge MOVE UP

Didn't Andy say he was giving back the $$$ he won from the whole season ?

Not just the championships.  Same motor same car = illegal for the whole season right ?

If he forfeits the whole season wouldn't it move the other folks up ?

Why was his motor legal their when it's been the same motor right for the last year ?

If he didn't touch it for a year and was illegal now, then wouldn't it be illegal now.

I needed tires and had some purple monsters coming to me anyway---so either way.

(thanks for giving me that enema in my hotel room bathroom---much thanks, and I will keep that between us as agreed)

Re: Lost to Andy in SuperChallenge MOVE UP

Oh no, don't include me in on that one...that was between you and Hector only.

Yes, he said he was giving the money back, but personally I believe that was a generous decision, but something that may be close to impossible to disperse. Who knows...I may be wrong. As far as " Same motor same car = illegal for the whole season right ?", that is incorrect. He is only illegal for the Pro Finale and Solo Nats. That's at least how the rulebook goes. I don't know how this will all play out, but if the shims were the only thing "illegal," he doesn't owe me a red cent!

I lost to Andy in the 3rd round of the super challenge in Arkansas...I expect Jeff Pilson, Chris Harvey, and Kevin Youngers to show up there this weekend so we can have a semi-final redo.

Re: Lost to Andy in SuperChallenge MOVE UP

Now of course they can't redo the whole bracket that Hollis was in, but how about 2nd to 1st in the superchallenge.

Ok now lets say that's not possible.

Is Andy sending a check to Hector for the difference btw 1st and 2nd in the challenge ?

Should I ask Andy to purchase for me the extra 2 Hoosier tires that Hector would have been entitled to if he had beaten Andy.

If Hoosier doesn't give me the tires, then maybe at the next national event I should go over and speak to Andy.  I am sure he would be agreeable to writing me a ckeck for $200 + $600(2 tires)= $800.

    Dear Andy:

Please make check out to David "Itchy Balls" Lehman.

    Thanks

Keep in mind that if Andy's valve spring/shim combo had been strictly legal (i.e. fresh unsagged oem springs and no shims) instead of sagged springs and beat to heck shims, he would have had more power and won by more.

At some point that shim was not beat to heck, and was in fact thicker than as it was found.  So if anything, his motor  was "stronger" earlier in the season.  Of course, the advantage of the shim only comes into play when the valve floats, which no doubt occurs above the setting for the rev limiter, so in reality there is no advantage at all.

If all valves were shimmed, and this was an old pushrod motor (or another low-revving motor), and valve float happened 100-200rpm later in the rev range, then maybe a true advantage could be found.

Or spun the inside tire more and not won at all. Maybe this was done as a means of traction control? Who knows? None of us!

Lehman. .  . give it up. It's getting old. You've exhausted your feelings on the subject on every subtopic on this board. We get your views on the subject. STFU!

Re: Lost to Andy in SuperChallenge MOVE UP

Oh thou of limited reading skills this thread was just about  the possibility of picking up two tires.

In this thread yea of little reading comprehension----I was not ripping Hollis or anyone else.....ok having fun with the Serial Killer and his co-driver MK.

And if thou has noticed I had not posted recently.

But if you made the picture of the guy beating the horse, then you dear lady have mad art skills.

PS----you spelled my name right.  And I applaud you for that

PSS----I used to get my Tara's mixed up----but recently I figured out who you were---Everyone used to mix me up with Greg Shumaker so I know how that goes
