I'm without my tow vehicle the week of the two Atlanta Events (Pro/Tour), my wife has a big horse show in Kentucky and needs to haul the horses there Is there anyone making their way through St. Louis on the way to Atlanta that might be able to haul some tires there and back? I'll even chip in some gas money if there is someone who can do ...

Alright, time to start a video thread for the Newport ProSolo videos. Post what you have here
Here's my first compilation, Jeremy Foley's fastest run of the weekend, round 1 of the Challenge, beating the car owner in the bracket.
Unfortunately I can't embed the new Flickr video, here's a direct link. Let me know what you think of the PIP format ...

The weather is looking beautiful for this weekend. The ProSolo starts tomorrow morning in Newport. If you're around and read this, come up to 98/198 SS and say hello. I'll be announcing first heat.

If you've not seen any information on this event check out www.doublexchallenge.com.
It's not your traditional ProSolo, 2 cars, one course, at the same time. It's the weekend before Memorial Day, and before the Atlanta National Tour.
Nick and I are headed down there and plan to leave the car locked up for the week (secure onsite storage), fly ...

I would highly recommend everyone from St. Louis make the trip down to the Arkansas ProSolo on April 12th and 13th. ProSolo is some of the most fun you will have at an autocross, and you'll get a heck of a lot more seat time that weekend if you make the trip instead of staying in town for the poorly scheduled local event!
Support your Nationals ...

Sign up for the Arkansas ProSolo! There are currently only 53 entries, I'm heading down and hoping to see a lot more people sign up! The folks down in Arkansas always put on great events so I'd highly recommend making the trip.
I'm also potentially looking for a codriver for the www.corvettez06.org 2004 Corvette! If you're interested give me a ...

What happened? Well, we had a great time! We want to thank every one who came! Thank you for your support! I think we proved that the single course format can work.
For those who missed it, well,,,,,,,, maybe next year.
If we can just get MMP to pave the area we used as paddock,, then we could use this years course ...

I have uploaded my photos from the 2007 Toledo ProSolo, mostly just the challenge runs and a handful of FunHondas Racing Team shots.
I'm still learning how to preserve motion blur on bright days. There's a handful of fantastic shots in the ~700 photos, your mileage may vary ;-)

Just in case anyone has missed this thread there are some big changes for the upcoming two weekends at Walnut Ridge. In summary, the Pro in two weeks is moved to Sunday after the Single day tour on Saturday the 28th.
Read the thread for more info.

Ok, after taking those issues into the consideration here is another idea that fixes all of the bad things from the previous attempt. This one is created with the assumption that courses don't have to exactly identical. In this case right side has a bit longer straight then the left side, but that can be even out later and make them that both ...

Here is another picture of the whole thing (and the link it self as well) so things will be a bit more clear. The ''A'' area is where I think ProSolo might make sense. The ''B'' area is where currently local clubs are running their events. Basically they would just go around the block in either direction. The ''C'' area is enclosed portion used by ...

I've posted all the high resolution shots I took at the Peru ProSolo for 2006 on my Flickr account.

To get to the high res shot, flickr on an image on the page above, then you should see a link to ''all sizes'', from there you can choose the various sizes available.

John V:The Devens site probably COULD host a Pro, but the layout would have to be really strange. And I know we're talking ProSolo here, but if there is a Devens tour again next year I highly encourage people to attend. The site is quite good and except for KC the people are very nice. Ouch! :-)
I can't ...

Surferjer:What we need are more tour events on the east coast. Devens is a long haul and had mediocre attendance, while the DC Pro could have sold out twice. Maybe a Toledo Pro? Not exactly east coast, but at least closer. Wish my own region (Philly) would step up and put on a Pro.
I couldn't agree more. ...

rallyfreak:Uh oh, not another AWD car. I think the 06+ WRX stands a fairly good shot in Pro Solos. You have the bigger wheels and more power, which should make the car competitive. I have yet to see a fully prepared car, but I'm sure they can keep up. Heck the stock one at DC this year wasn't too shabby.
That ...

Where does one watch to catch the earliest information about the 2007 ProSolo season's schedule? Is this the place?
Yes, I think I'm addicted. I'm back from Nat'ls and walking the hallways at work like I'm looking ahead for the next cone. It's very strange. People give me odd looks at my decreasing ...

As announced on SCCA.com the SCCA has decided to change the dates of the ProSolo Finale.....
The Finale will now run Friday/Saturday 9/22-9/23 rather than the usual Saturday Sunday the weekend before Nationals. You can read some of the backlash in threads here on SCCAForums.com.
